1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of cleaning services by Chelsay's Cleaning Services ("we", "our", "us") to the customer ("you", "your").
By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Services
We provide domestic and/or commercial cleaning services as agreed with the customer.
The scope of work, frequency of visits, and pricing will be agreed before services commence.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services where working conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
3. Quotations
All quotations are provided based on the information supplied by the customer.
If the condition, size, or requirements of the property differ significantly from the information provided, we reserve the right to revise the quotation.
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
4. Bookings and Appointments
Appointments are confirmed once agreed between the customer and Chelsay's Cleaning Services.
Customers must provide reasonable access to the property at the agreed appointment time.
Failure to provide access may result in a cancellation charge.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
Provide safe access to the property.
Ensure running water and electricity are available where required.
Secure valuable, fragile, or irreplaceable items.
Inform us of any hazards, damage, or special cleaning requirements before work begins.
Keep pets under control during the cleaning visit where necessary.
6. Pricing and Payment
Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We currently accept payment via bank transfer.
Late payments may result in suspension of future services until outstanding balances are settled.
We reserve the right to charge reasonable recovery costs on overdue accounts where permitted by law.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers must provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or appointment changes.
Where less than 24 hours' notice is provided, we reserve the right to charge up to 50% of the agreed service fee.
If we need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we will provide as much notice as reasonably possible and arrange an alternative appointment.
8. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the cleaning service, you must notify us within 24 hours of completion.
Where appropriate, we will return to address the issue at no additional charge.
Complaints raised after this period may not be eligible for corrective action.
9. Liability
We will take reasonable care when providing our services.
However, we shall not be liable for:
Pre-existing damage to property or furnishings.
Normal wear and tear.
Damage resulting from faulty fixtures, fittings, or materials.
Loss or damage caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer.
Delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant cleaning service, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
10. Damage and Breakages
Any accidental damage caused during the provision of services must be reported to us as soon as reasonably possible.
We will investigate any claims and, where appropriate, take reasonable steps to resolve the matter.
Customers must notify us within 48 hours of discovering any alleged damage.
11. Health and Safety
We reserve the right to refuse work where:
There is a risk to health or safety.
Hazardous substances are present.
Conditions are considered unsafe for our staff or contractors.
12. Access and Security
Where keys, alarm codes, or access instructions are provided, we will take reasonable precautions to protect this information.
Customers remain responsible for ensuring accurate access arrangements are provided.

Additional Service Terms
17. End of Tenancy Cleaning
End of tenancy cleaning is carried out according to the checklist agreed with the customer prior to the appointment.
While we aim to meet landlord and letting agent expectations, we cannot guarantee the return of a tenancy deposit, as deposit decisions remain solely at the discretion of landlords, letting agents, and inventory clerks.
Customers must ensure that:
The property has been vacated before the appointment unless otherwise agreed.
Running water and electricity are available.
Personal belongings have been removed where possible.
Any existing damage is disclosed before work commences.
Additional cleaning required due to undisclosed property conditions may result in additional charges.
18. Deep Cleaning Services
Deep cleaning services are designed to provide a more intensive clean than regular maintenance cleaning.
Due to the nature of deep cleaning:
Additional time may be required beyond the original estimate.
Certain stains, limescale, mould, discolouration, paint marks, or ingrained dirt may not be fully removable.
No guarantee can be given regarding the complete removal of permanent staining or damage.
Any additional work requested during the appointment may be subject to further charges.
19. Builders and After-Renovation Cleans
Builders cleans are intended to remove dust, debris, and residue resulting from construction, renovation, or decorating work.
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
All major building works have been completed before cleaning begins.
The premises are safe to enter.
Hazardous materials have been removed.
Contractors have cleared large waste items and rubble.
Chelsay's Cleaning Services reserves the right to stop work if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
Additional charges may apply where excessive dust, debris, paint residue, adhesive residue, or waste is present beyond what was reasonably anticipated.
20. Commercial and Office Cleaning
For commercial and office cleaning contracts:
Access arrangements must be agreed in advance.
Customers are responsible for securing confidential documents and sensitive information.
We shall not be responsible for loss of data, confidential records, or documents left unsecured.
Any issues regarding service quality must be reported within 24 hours wherever reasonably possible.
For ongoing commercial contracts, either party may terminate the agreement by providing 30 days' written notice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
21. Photographs and Condition Reports
In certain circumstances, we may take photographs before and after cleaning for:
Quality assurance purposes
Quotation assessments
Resolving disputes or complaints
Photographs will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and will not be used for marketing purposes without your consent.
22. Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply where:
The condition of the property differs significantly from the information provided.
Excessive clutter prevents access to cleaning areas.
Biohazards, bodily fluids, pest infestations, or hazardous materials are present.
Additional rooms or areas are requested on the day of service.
Delays occur due to lack of access to the property.
Any additional charges will be discussed with the customer before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.
